WE are at a crossroads.

Like so many organizations during this time, ONE Community Foundation is facing financial uncertainty as expected corporate giving has been largely frozen, and sponsorships have been delayed as we have postponed events and programming due to the crisis before us all. 

Our work remains critical, and yet it is at great risk. ONE thing is for certain, we cannot press pause.

In more than 60% of Arizona it is still not illegal to discriminate in employment, housing or public accommodations, including hospitals, simply for being LGBTQ. 

ONE Community will continue to adjust and will remain resilient in the face of this crisis. We represent a vulnerable population that needs our voice. We will continue our educational coalition building work with business leaders, faith leaders, community leaders, and our elected officials. We will work tirelessly to ensure that one day soon our great state will update our non-discrimination policies to include LGBTQ Arizonans, and that we are truly welcoming and OPEN for Business to Everyone. 

When we get through this crisis, it will be imperative that we all work together to rebuild our economy.  Our state’s reputation will be key to our success. ONE Community Foundation's unique educational programming will allow us to lead the charge in bringing about the positive change that must take place for us to rebuild our reputation and help us attract the tourism dollars and top talent our companies and organizations will need for recovery.
